There’s no such thing as the common man

The idea of the “average man” is nothing more than a stereotype designed to promote the social idea of normality. Sitcoms and TV shows do all they can to promote the idea of the ordinary man, but it is nothing more than an illusion designed to promote conformity to a specific idea of how someone should be, instead of thinking for yourself.

The mere concept of individuality, and the reality that everyone is different, negates the concept of the average man. Therefore, the concept of the average man, and the social idea of normality, is a slap in the face of individuality.
